Common questions

Where do the nutrition numbers come from?
Only from nutrition information the restaurants publish. Each item in the app shows its source and when it was last checked. Values can vary from what you're served.

Do I need an account?
No. Bitemize has no accounts, and your targets and presets stay on your phone.

Does it work offline?
Yes. After the first download, restaurant data is stored on your device.

How do I turn off analytics or crash reports?
Go to Settings and switch off Share anonymous usage analytics or Send crash reports. The change applies immediately.

Is Bitemize medical advice?
No. Talk to a qualified professional about your dietary needs.
